Obesity is a disorder and Ayurveda can effectively help in curbing the same. According to Ayurveda, there are a few remedies for losing weight naturally and getting a flat tummy. Few of the remedies are:
Fenugreek seeds: Roast some methi seeds (fenugreek seeds) and make fine powder paste. Drink it in the morning with some water in an empty stomach or soak it overnight and chew the seeds the next morning again in an empty stomach.
Vijaysar: This is a deciduous tree's bark and it is used in Ayurveda for managing diabetes and obesity because it has fat reducing properties. It can be added in herbal tea for getting desired results.
Triphala: Triphala is a preparation made with dried amla (gooseberry), haritaki and bibhitaki. This power powder is consumed two hours after dinner and half an hour before breakfast in hot water.
Cinnamon: It acts as a key factor for improving body's metabolism. Hence, drinking cinnamon tea can help reduce fat.
