Tiwari was told "Only a woman could take care
of a child," when he was definite to adopt a child. The only wish he had
was to adopt someone with special needs. However, this young gentleman in India
proved in due course he was no less than any mother.
On 1st January 2016, Aditya Tiwari, a
software engineer from Pune, successfully created history. His months of
struggle paid off and he lastly got what he had desired for such a long time. He
brought his son Avnish home. Getting Avnish's custody was quite strugglesome
for him. Society still thinks that to bring up a child it is necessary to have
a mother. Fathers are not enough to rear the kid in the best possible way.
India is the country where adoption is laden with a
lot of unwanted prejudice. A single man decides on to adopt a child and that too
with special needs had to overcome a lot of steeplechases.
As Avnish was a special child, he faced rejection from
many couples since the time he was born. Even his biological parents decided not
to keep him with them. Avnish, who has been spotted with Down Syndrome, was in
fact left by his 'so-called' parents in an orphanage.
However, Avnish's life seemed to have a better
father, that too such a kind-hearted and lovely one.
